|Tell us about your sporting background and how you first got into triathlons||Played a bit of Footy, cricket and basketball as a kid, did some swimming for the school, but gave most of it away in my early 20s due to a back problem...
I did the GIT with Nuna about 5-6 years ago... Was unfit, very overweight and couldn't run around a jam tin!
|Your favourite TRI discipline?||I like them all! Really proud to have got as far as 1/2 IM distance and the last year or so doing the off road stuff has been super fun!|
|Goal race for the 2016/17 season? Perhaps future goals?||Goal race was ITU World Off road title at Jindabyne back in Nov 16... Was well underdone due to some injuries, but just qualifying and being there with the Nuna who was a thrill.
Hoping the future holds some injury free training.
|Favourite holiday destination and why||Castaway Island in Fiji was just amazing for us as a family, we had so much fun at a real tough time.
Our family caravan trip around Oz last year was simply sensational, we have a country that we can be proud of... I do love Kings Canyon and Kakadu!
|If you could have a super power for a day what would it be?||I'd love to be able to bring back that special person for you, to share just one more special moment... And a beer!|
|In a snapshot of a few sentences, what else keeps you busy outside of triathlons?||I'm a home dad... And have for a while now, means I know how hard it is for those mums and single parents out there... I love it, love seeing my kids grow, it's been an unbelievable experience!|
|What do you love about being a member of NunaTriClub?||I love getting to races and getting away with the club, seeing how everyone has worked hard at club sessions and getting results that we can all share and celebrate!
I love that Nuna has given me an opportunity to find a road back to health and fitness, a chance to be the best I can be for my family.
