Tell us about your sporting background and how you first got into triathlons I played a lot of team sports as a youngster in the Motherland, but mainly cricket and rugby. I moved to Oz and embraced the laid back lifestyle and did bugger all for about 15 years. After taking gold medal at the London Olympics in the 100+kg pie eating contest I thought I'd better do something more active. Took up cycling, started running again and Chris Riley gave me a GIT flyer... That was 2014. So you can all blame Chris... I do!
Your favourite TRI discipline? Swim... Haha... No! I used to be pretty handy on a bike but am too lazy to ride in the cold weather now so running has taken over these past 12mths!
Goal race for the 2016/17 season? Perhaps future goals? Already done both of them! Surf Coast Century and ITU Off Road Triathlon World Championships. Never thought I'd be doing stuff like this even 12mths ago! The rest of the summer will be Gatorade, Two Bays, Challenge Melbourne and possibly something big at the start of next season???
Favourite holiday destination and why Anywhere with a good sporting event. Being in an environment with so much energy and excitement beats lying on a beach any day of the week.
If you could have a super power for a day what would it be? Mack Clarkson!!!

What do you love about being a member of NunaTriClub? It's the most supportive and encouraging environment I've ever been part of. We all love to take the piss out of each other and have a laugh, but when it comes to the serious stuff I can't think of anywhere that provides the support, whether it’s your first 5k fun run or Kona, that this great club does!
